I started Last Man Standing (now Le Dernier Fils) as an outlet for my creativity — a mix of everything I love: graphic design, drawing, and fashion. I didn't want to keep that locked away, so I built a brand that reflects who I am.

I'm the last son in a family of eight who moved from Tanzania to the U.S. My parents wanted me to take the traditional route — doctor, lawyer, etc. — but they also gave me the freedom to chase my creative side. That support led to the creation of LMS.

I don't see myself as a fashion designer — just a creator making things in the moment, inspired by life. Every drop is a reflection of me, from me to you. I hope the brand lives on long after I'm gone — that'd be the best way to thank my parents for believing in me.
